About Tee it Up for Women

The Tee It Up golf tournament, founded by Sabrina Jenkins, is a diversity initiative of SJL 26 Event Productions and is the ultimate platform for bringing together corporate and women-owned businesses. Women supporting other women in business leads to increased representation and influence of women in leadership roles, higher economic growth, improved workplace culture, and increased collaboration and innovation. Supporting and mentoring fellow female entrepreneurs can help to develop strong networks and open up doors to new opportunities and partnerships.

With exciting pre-tournament socials, expert golf clinics, cutting-edge diversity, and business workshops, as well as an impactful expo, participating in this event helps women elevate their businesses to the next level. Attendees are empowered with the tools and resources they need to succeed, and corporate representatives can confidently seek out qualified businesses for procurement opportunities.

Solomon’s Temple is a holistic emergency and transitional shelter for homeless women and their children, driven by a mission to treat the root causes of homelessness in Atlanta. We envision a day when homelessness is a thing of the past. That’s why we work every day to provide shelter, confidence and life skills training to hundreds of Atlanta mothers and families. Solomon’s Temple is a 130 residential unit facility for homeless women and their children. The amenities include a playground, basketball court, gazebo and walking trails, designed to offer families in transition a peaceful setting to find stability. The core programs at Solomon’s Temple are designed to guide homeless families toward lives of independence. Thinking about it differently changes outcomes. Our approach is unique within our field, utilizing a family coaching model instead of the case management system. Under this approach, families are not managed, but rather manage the execution of their own goals, with the family coach providing supplemental support.
